Fab care Services ltd provides care for adults over 18 years old with learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD as well as other complex needs. The home is in a residential area of West Hull in close proximity to the village of Hessle.
Our service is for long term and respite care support with 24 -hour care.
The care home consists of 6 apartments, this includes 4 apartments with their own on-suites and lounge, 2 apartments with an on-suite bedroom and shared lounge separate from the main lounge/sensory room. There is also a lift to the upstairs apartments.
There is a separate dining area and shared kitchen as well as lounge/Sensory room in which
service users are welcome to relax and feel comfortable in. Personalised
support from our care staff is also available for service users in the sensory room

We believe it is paramount that an individual needs , wishes choices and beliefs are always understood and respected. We recognise each individuals goals, aspirations hopes and dreams and help to support them as they work their way to achieving them
Our staff are trained to help support our service users. We provide person-centred care planning, effective recording and risk assessments to ensure we provide the best care. All staff undergo mandatory training throughout the robust onboarding induction. Staff are trained in behaviour distraction techniques and listening skills is paramount to individual person-Centred care.
The person-centred practice is conducted for everyone with the understanding that day-to-day care needs can change as well as the knowledge of how to cater for these changes in a person-centred way.

Michelle our Registered manager has experience as a CQC registered manager with learning disabilities and complex needs. She has worked with the elderly with dementia and has been a team leader in a high secure unit. She has worked very closely with various service users and has given them all opportunities to thrive to the best of their ability. She has developed them into self-assured happy individuals regardless of their circumstances and has empowered them to be confident in being part of the community whilst enjoying life to the full. She has used her experience of over 15 years to ensure the best care and support has been given and that service users under her care are able to have choices and a voice.
Within the senior management team, there is experience within a variety of fields as in Health , Social Care, learning disability and Complex needs
